INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS - INDEL 2008

will be held from November 6 through 8, 2008

PROGRAMME

The Symposium INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICSINDEL 2008 covers all aspects and areas of electronics and electrotechnics application in industry, industrial systems and in related areas. The following topics are covered by the Symposium:
  • 01: Materials and components
  • 02: Power electronics
  • 03: Electrical circuits
  • 04: Electrical machines and drives
  • 05: Measurement methods and systems
  • 06: Processing and transmition of signals
  • 07: Modeling, identification and process control
  • 08: Renewable energy sources
  • 09: Information technologies
  • 10: Telecommunications

Authors are invited to present their work on the Symposium. The papers should contain results of research that are related to a theory, design, implementation, application, exploitation, maintenance or evaluation aspects of mentioned topics. They should contain the results of theoretical or experimental research, as well as the results of application of developed methods in engineering practice, presentations of developed devices, expositions of practical experience in area of elements and devices in industrial electronics, exploitation, etc.


ORGANIZATION OF THE SYMPOSIUM

The Symposium will be performed through the plenary sessions on the topics stated above and the tutorials. The accompanying manifestations of the Symposium shall beconsultations, round tables, expositions and commercial presentations. >


PAPER SUBMISSION AND SELECTION OF PAPERS

The papers for the Symposium should be arranged according to the Instructions for authors that are enclosed with this announcement. Only the papers, that have not been published or presented in some other way, shall be accepted for this Symposium. Paper must be submitted to the Symposium Programme Committee by e-mail.
The papers submitted for the Symposium are subject to review. After review of submitted papers Symposium Programme Committee will inform authors whether their papers are accepted and included in the Symposium programme. Although papers are subject to review, the authors are only responsible for their originality, quality, and authenticity.

All the papers accepted for the Symposium and prepared according to the Instructions for authors, will be entirely published in the Symposium Proceedings. The papers accepted for the Symposium, can be presented by author or co-author only.


3. International Student Competition - TASK SPECIFICATION

Teams are supposed to implement a system for access control and recording information in the computer room.

System contains terminal with microcontroller that is connected with RFID card reader for user identification and Ethernet controller used for server communication over TCP/IP.

Server side has to be consisted of database which contains information about users and service for control of workstations in computer room.

Also, teams are supposed to provide possibility of accessing database over the web interface, acquiring data by user identification, and user profile administration.

Equipment provided: PIC18F family microcontroller, graphic LCD display 128x64 pixels with touchscreen panel, Ethernet controller ENC28J60 and RFID transceiver



LOCATION OF SYMPOSIUM

Symposium will be held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Banjaluka. The details about accommodation will be given in the second announcement.


OFFICIAL LANGUAGES

Official languages of Symposium are Serbian and English.

  • Submission of papers 01.10.2008.
  • Notification of paper acceptance until 15.10.2008.
  • Date for the INDEL 2008 Conference November 6-8. 2008
